- Description: L’Arche Bognor Regis is part of the national L’Arche charity (reg no. 264166). We are a Community of about 50 people with and without learning disabilities sharing our lives together. We celebrate the gifts of each person. We like to be creative and responsive through activities, services and just day to day life. We offer opportunities for personal growth and development through the daily tasks and joys of living and working together. Members can choose to participate in a wide range of activities and people from other organisations use our day services. We also support members to gain experience in other L’Arche Communities both in the UK and overseas. We provide a strong sense of belonging. ~~~~~ Achievements: • Making a home for people with learning disabilities since 1978. • Establishing 3 residential homes and a supported living house • Building a Community Room • Integration into the wider community • Maintaining links with churches, schools, universities and colleges • Successfully running day services for our residents and residents from similar organisations • Enlarging our garden project, workshop and relaxation activities for those members who need a slower pace. ~~~~~ Aims • We believe in the capacity to change through mutually transforming relationships • We promote the gifts of people with learning disabilities and enable them to take a full part in L’Arche and society • We are open and outward looking, actively engaging with those around us and responsive to changing needs and circumstances

- Description: We have a horticulture project growing vegetables in season, fruit herbs and bedding plants. The project is run by clients and volunteers. We have a large commercial greenhouse and agricultural land to grow produce.
