- Description: Horsham Matters is a social enterprise that was set up in 2009 by Horsham Churches Together to enable the 29 member churches to demonstrate God's love and concern for the local community in practical ways. We were aware that despite the Horsham District being relatively well off, there were some pockets of real need amongst our community - there was some great work being done to address this need in individual churches, but we felt that by working together we could be far more effective, reach many more people and make a much bigger impact upon our local community. As an organisation we are committed to helping those who are for whatever reason unable to help themselves. We aim to provide a range of services that meet local need such as Horsham Children Can Do and our Young Persons’ Advocacy Service. We plan to continue to build on the number of services we are able to deliver as we increase our income through our Community Charity Centre.
