    • Description: Gallery 26 is a not for profit company limited by guarantee. The aim of this social enterprise is to provide a variety of art services to artists and the community. The gallery is something completely new to Worthing, enabling the community to engage with the arts and local artists, and for those artists to work in partnership with Gallery 26 with the objective of providing art workshops to the community. Local artists can also use the space as an open art studio and we can provide private exhibition space and screenings of local independent film. Gallery 26 will also promote local musicians, bands and DJs through record sales. The aim is to provide affordable services to local artists with an instant route to market for their work and engage the community with the arts over a multi-platform. Government cuts in arts funding, further the importance of a local gallery to support both new and established artists and art students.

    • Description: An experienced landscape designer leads this enterprise which supports adults with learning disabilities to provide a community gardening service. All areas of general maintenance and clearance through to new garden design are offered. Alongside this social enterprise is a community project working in partnership with Southern Rail. Adults with learning disabilities maintain and provide seasonal colour in the form of hanging baskets and window boxes on most of the railway stations covering the lines between Brighton, Bosham and Dorking. In addition, the project is undertaking specific planting developments at key stations and locations within the community.
