    • Description: Established in 2006 in Middleton-on-Sea dizzy : support 4 diabetes, now have four outlets - Littlehampton, Middleton-on-Sea, East Preston and eBay (dizzy2me). They have adopted a boutique approach to their shops. Jools Chaffer, co-founding dizzy director added: “Although we mainly sell second-hand goods, there is nothing second class about what we do. We think of ourselves as top notch recyclers! Goods are donated, given a new home and the proceeds of the sales are passed on to a very worthy initiative.” With the organisations’ HQ based in Rustington, dizzy: support 4 diabetes are proud multi-award winners (Arun Business Partnership Awards 2009). They scooped the Disability Awareness Award for a second year running, as well as the Promotion and Marketing Award, plus the real jewel in the crown, the Overall Business of the Year Award. In March 2010, dizzy were awarded a gong at the Chichester Observer Business Awards for 'Education in Business' (2009), for all their high profile voluntary assistance within local schools, colleges and universities. The social enterprise, who have a dedicated team of staff plus numerous volunteers, have helped raise awareness of an illness which affects nearly three million people in the UK.     • Description: Dove Lodge situated close to Littlehampton Town Centre provides the District of Arun with an exceptional community resource centre. The Centre which was officially opened in October 2002 is run by Dove (Littlehampton) Ltd, a registered charity. Dove Lodge offers affordable, accessible office accommodation to rent to voluntary organisations and community groups. Particular regard is given to those small and emerging billgroups who need help and support in their embryonic stages. The Centre will provide support to groups in developing trust, communication and co-operative working within the sector to a higher level of partnership working.
